Daxter on PSP sells 2 million copies

Posted on February 5th, 2008 at 05:16 EDT

Developer Ready at Dawn has revealed that its PlayStation Portable title, Daxter, has sold 2 million copies since its inception in March 2006.

Last year saw the game bundled with a limited edition Slim & Lite PSP in both North America and Europe, making it the best selling entertainment pack on Sony’s handheld machine.

The title saw a significant boost in sales over the 2007 holiday season, which is mainly attributed to its recent inclusion in Sony’s Greatest Hits brand.

Ready at Dawn is currently gearing up for its latest PSP release, God of War: Chains of Olympus, due out in North America on March 4.

Is it really a shocker? The game is amazing! It's seriously one of the best PSP experiences I've had yet.
