Final Fantasy I & II dated for Europe

Posted on December 20th, 2007 at 06:40 EDT

Square-Enix announced today that the PlayStation Portable updates of Final Fantasy I and II would be released in Europe on February 8, 2008.

Both titles have been available in North America and Japan for some time now, and include all-new CGI cut-scenes, updated visuals and exclusive dungeons for the player to discover.

Square-Enix CEO, John Yamamoto, commented: "Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy II represent the foundations of the Square Enix success story.”

“They are the first two imaginative steps in the long and distinguished history of the Final Fantasy franchise. With these beautiful new versions, fans can now experience the origins of Final Fantasy wherever they go."
