In anticipation to the upcoming release, Sony has updated their Gran Turismo website to reflect the soon to be released title Gran Turismo 5 Prologue.
Gran Turismo 5 Prologue will feature over 60 cars from companies such as BMW, Ferrari, and Nissan. The site is showcasing 60 cars, but only 32 cars are being highlighted, with model year, drivetrain, power, torque and weight characteristics being on display under the car model. Besides these specifications, the site will also have each of the cars fully rendered with the close to 200,000 polygons each model will have in the game and will also feature fully modeled interior dashboard views with the appropriate driver animations and gauges for the first time in the series. This ultimately means that every detail, down to the headlights all the way to the tailpipe will be showcased.
The site will also allow users to get a quick glimpse at four of the tracks that will be included within GT5 Prologue: London, Eiger Nordwand, Fuji Speedway and Suzuka Circuit. Each track will also be listed its total length, vertical length and maximum straight length in meters, as well as the number of corners that each course has, as well as terrain specifications to allow gamers to get mentally prepared for the courses they will face in the upcoming title.
Sony has also given fans of the series some goodies in the form of downloadable screenshots or videos of the game in action, downloadable wallpapers of cars, the ability to enter forums and discuss upcoming features of the game as well as the option to reserve a copy of the Blu-ray disc from either Amazon, Gamestop or Circuit City. The site also allows fans to sign up for e-mail updates concerning the game.

This game seems cool but it sorta sucks that we have to pay $40 for a pre-game.
I want a full game :// polyphony or w/e they call themselves can bank on the desperate.. just know people like aren't going to buy this game, until it's officially, fully out.
So, um, Mr. Ramos, what exactly is the URL? Guess you kinda forgot that one.
@macphisto, tell the complete truth, does it really offer content worthy of the title? For some reason I just couldn't get into GT4... though I loved all the others. I really want this game to make me like racing again, but I feel like GT got a little stale.

I have never been so excited for a demo... if you will, of a game! Yeah, it's more than a demo and $40... but I'm still jumping with excitement.
Man it sucks that it costs $40, if it were $15-20 I would have gotten it, but well beggers can't be choosers
