Capcom has announced that owners of the upcoming Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G for PlayStation Portable will be able to install the game onto a memory stick to experience reduced loading times.
News comes following a completion event for the title in Japan recently, though it is currently unknown if this method will be optional for consumers, or if users are able to transfer the entire game.
The Monster Hunter franchise has achieved both critical and commercial success in its native Japan, where Monster Hunter Portable 2nd (known as Monster Hunter Freedom 2 in the west) has sold over 1.5 million copies to date.
Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G is an expansion title that offers players new monsters to capture, as well as all-new terrain to explore. The game is due out in Japan on March 27.

nice i tink i will buy it
psn id: gingo.... more developers seem to be doing this and i think more of the big games with have install options for both ps3 and psp
Nice. I would like more of this to happen. Looks like I am getting a 16 gig after all.
Will this game come to america..im almost done wiht the american version i am at hr 5
I hope they bring it to the US considering the popularity of mh on psp here. PS2 or PS3 is a lost cause but at least we can get those over here.
More and more reasons to buy the PSP. I loved Monster Hunter on the PS2 and have been awaiting a full fledged console sequel for PS3... but looks like that isn't gonna be happening any time soon. Drat.
Never played a Monster Hunter game myself, but heard they were good. Too bad companies keep going after this install process.
MHF2 is good, but a bit annoying with the no lock on, but hey things aren't perfect, but I think I'll get this for no reason.
Thats kinda kewl. I've not played a MH game before tho... what's it like? Also, curious if anyone knows, but is there a limit for space on the PSP? If am I to buy a 8gb or bigger card... would it be recognised... I've heard news of problems with this in the past.
That's very interesting. I'm still put off by them putting sequel on another system. I'm just not convinced to buy this yet.
