Stupid thing is Sony has got a damn big pocket as well so i don't see why they can't secure some other exclusive content. Not to say that sony should pay 50 million dollars for it, just a little more than what they are doing now. Which just so happens to be "We are the Playstation brand give me the content"

Waste of money IMO. This game wont be as good as GTA3. That was revolutionary. I will defnitly get the game for PS3, but Sony would be stupid to waste that much money on exclusive content.

so for multi-platform games are selling better on ps3 and when you know that thier are more 360's on the market than ps3's you can only say that this trend will stay. gta4 is going to sell better on ps3 because it was on sony that the franchise begain and that's where all the gta fans are. if microsoft thinks that throwing millions of dollars to editeurs will increase sales of xbox, just to have a tiny bit of exclusive content, than they truely do have millions of dollars to waste, this will never meke me buy a crapbox

Microsoft bought the Exclusive Content for $50Million, and also made sure that Sony would get no Extra Content the theiving basta.rds

Even if the ps3 got  exclusive content the EU store wouldent get it so i dont care

Eh,w/e i really don't care for the episodic content,cuz you have to buy it anyways,i'm not gonna lose so much money on a single game.

This is unfortunate but money is obviously top priority in Rockstars book, i had a lot of repect for them but not now i know 50 million is a lot and difficult to turn down but i reckon they could make 3 times that on the ps3 version alone.

I'd do it for 50 million! Do you honestly think Rockstar makes that much off a GTA game??? Microsoft is to blame here, they have to spend big bucks just so their system will have another feature. Microsoft and Gates can burn!

Rockstar will probably do some other exclusive content for the PSN. And then Microsoft will be pissed, and they'll try to sue Rockstar or something, and then Sony will buy Rockstar as their exclusive studio. (Like Insomniac?)

psn id: gingo... i'm glad they are not getting more exclusive content but i disagree that the gaming industry was run by whoever had the best graphics because both ps1 and ps2 were inferior to their rivals in graphics but still blew them away with sales

The revenue generated from PSN should be done from PSN cards and a bombardment of new content in the coming year. If that were to happen then maybe we can some of the DLC made for PS3 as well. Rockstar shouldn't pan handle their IP to give the best only to one console.

Well for me i can careless about exclusive content since i havent bought any of the extra content for the games i have now.... and (2) exclusive contents shouldn't be a reason to buy  a 360 over ps3 ..... like everybody say... M$  is just wasting their money and time over two exclusive content. 

The 1st Content i'll buy for my games is COD4, cuz that game kicks butt.... oh and when MGS4 come out and they have new content ill buy those too...

I'm not going to buy this game because I'm not going to support Rockstar for shafting the PS3 on this one. Instead, I'll be buying Saints Row 2, it's competitor.

i just fully pre-ordered this game meaning i just bought it. i traded in three games at gamestop. i'm hoping MGS4 will come out sooner than it should but, i can wait. i just want to know the release date for it. i think i'll like GTA IV.i mostly just like getting into police chases. i've almost got san andreas beaten

The PS3 wont have the "episodic content" that the 360 will have............that doesnt mean it wont have its own downloadable content. For all we know thet 360 will get the stuff they paid extra for, and the PS3 will get just as much content any way. It just wont be the same content.

rockstar isn't losing anything, the money i would of saved for boycotting their software, they already got from microsoft. lol. if microsoft pay you to under cut the quality of the machinetat i support, then i don't need to support you. thats my motto

It's ALWAYS about which system nas the most exclusive content because if you'll recall the PS2 killed the living fnuck out of the xbox, world wide. GAMES sell systems not the other way around.... except in the Wii's case where cheap prices and naivitae sold them.

I highly doubt R* is going to shaft Sony Fans. No we wont get what they Gaybox is getting but you can bet that they will do some seperate stuff for PS3 owners. Still laughing how dumb MS is. They think they can they can throw money @ developers and that will entice people to buy their system.  Whats going to be even funnier is when R* gives PS3 owners thier own DL content and sony wont have paid a dime because MS already paid it for them LAWL!!!

I just hope M$ next OS fails as bad as Vista did.
