Resistance: Retribution & Super Stardust announced for PSP

Posted on July 15th, 2008 at 17:39 EDT

During the PlayStation Portable segment of Sony's press conference at E3, Sony revealed two new titles for the system that are sure to bring smiles to owners.

Resistance: Retribution will be making its debut on PSP in Spring 2009. The title develops the story in the Resistance franchise that began with 'Resistance: Fall of Man' on PS3. It's being developed by Sony's Bend Studio, the same group that created the excellent Syphon Filter series on PSP.

Retribution will be a third person action shooter, seemingly set between 'Fall of Man' and Resistance 2. The logo of the game confirms that it'll be set in France.

Also revealed during the press conference was Super Stardust Portable. Unfortunately, only a brief trailer was shown, but it appeared to capture the hectic excitement that makes the original PSN version so great.

We'll bring you video content for both of these titles as soon as possible.
