Sony Computer Entertainment Japan (SCEJ) announced today that Skype would be available for consumers to use on their PlayStation Portable from March 18, 2008.
The communications service will be included in next system update due later this month, with Sony also revealing that it will be releasing official microphones to coincide with the software’s release.
Skype was originally due for release in January 2008, but was postponed as a result of Sony’s microphone hardware failing to meet the necessary specifications.

Great, cause I have a Japan PSP (for the color) and I've been waiting for Skype..
Jesus Christ, can't SCEI make SCEJ release them in America too?
